BlueStorm announces role as Launch Partner for Lotus Workplace Messging
Tue, May 20, 2003
Binghamton, New York - BlueStorm Technologies announced today their involvement as a new product Launch Partner for Lotus Workplace Messaging, IBM's new low cost web-based messaging solution.
BlueStorm is augmenting their existing messaging offerings by developing a Consulting and Implementation practice around Lotus Workplace Messaging. BlueStorm's consultants have been working with IBM/Lotus products for years, with experience in many of the advanced collaboration tools currently offered by IBM, including Domino/Notes, Sametime and QuickPlace.
"This product is a natural fit for BlueStorm's collaboration consultants currently working with customers who wish to strengthen their work force kiosk systems by bringing messaging to nontraditional email users. Before a product like LWM, it was not always practical to deploy the same level of communication and collaboration as the rest of the company. We are very excited about this product and our position as a Launch Partner.", says BlueStorm's President and CEO Robert D. Matson.
BlueStorm Technologies' customers span many industries including manufacturing, food distribution and healthcare. Many companies in these industries have split work forces, with a large population being deskless or nontraditional email workers. In todays work environment it is becoming increasingly important to provide timely and accurate communication to the entire work force. Many companies are using web based Intranet applications built on Domino or WebSphere to provide this communication. Kiosks are being installed throughout their facilities to provide a point of access for these workers. With a low cost, easily maintained solution like Lotus Workplace Messaging, companies can now provide email to the entire organization as well.
BlueStorm Technologies years of experience and lessons learned implementing collaboration solutions will translate into a smooth and painless experience for their clients during the implementation of Lotus Workplace Messaging.
