Robert Matson and Alan Colosi Receive 2009 “Small Business Person(s) of the Year” Award

The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce named Robert Matson & Alan Colosi the 2009 "Small Business Person(s) of the Year" at its 45th annual dinner Tuesday night at the Holiday Inn-Arena.  Over 400 chamber members and community leaders attended the event.  This prestigious award is given to individuals who show evidence of growth in number of employees and growth in sales over the years.  Recipients must also demonstrate innovation in their products and services and show involvement in community oriented projects.

BlueStorm Technologies, Inc. was founded by Robert Matson in 1999.  Alan Colosi joined the company in 2001 and together they relocated the company to Binghamton NY.  Since those humble beginnings BlueStorm Technologies has grown from a two man operation into a business that currently employs 18 people.  BlueStorm Technologies is an Enterprise-Class Solutions Provider with customers across the United States.  They specialize in Systems Integration, Application Development, Collaborative Systems, and Infrastructure Services.
