Robert Matson Presents to the Building Bridges Panel on Entrepreneurship

BlueStorm President/CEO Robert Matson recently participated on the "Panel on Entrepreneurship" as part of the
Building Bridges Program.
Building Bridges is an eight-week program that connects elementary, middle and high school educators with the world of work. It is offered by the Greater Binghamton Education Outreach Program, an affiliate organization of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce - in partnership with Broome Community College and Broome-Tioga BOCES.
Also on the panel were Damian Cornwall of
On Point Productions and Gay Canough of
ETM Solar Works. The group started at the Greater Binghamton Innovation Center and then toured the offices of BlueStorm Technologies and On Point Productions. At each site, educators participate in a tour of the facility and a formal presentation.
The program gives area educators an opportunity to increase their knowledge of area employers, their needs, and workplace trends. Since Fall 2008, 46 educators completed the program, visiting 15 local companies and representing eight school districts and one community college.
