Java Enterprise Edition (JEE)

BlueStorm's primary development and delivery platform is the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) the industry standard for implementing next-generation browser-based business systems and enterprise-class service-oriented architecture (SOA).  Java EE is the technology behind IBM's WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and overall WebSphere brand as well as Oracle's BEA WebLogic Application Server and Sun's Glassfish Application Server.

Java EE is based on a vendor neutral set of standards so regardless of the Application Server used it provides an enterprise-class platform for developing and delivering mission critical applications that require secure access, transaction processing and management, guaranteed message passing, consistent and scalable database access, along with a host of other features.

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
